Join our Central Analytics team! As a Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d), your role will be instrumental in shaping our business processes into a more data-driven and proactive approach. Specifically, you’ll be building data products, analyses and/or dashboards that enable data-centric decision-making for top management.
Your role goes beyond delivering data insights; you’ll help shape the future of our organization by fostering a proactive, data-driven culture, encouraging innovation, and enabling our teams to become more self-reliant in their decision-making processes. What you'll do
- Prepare analyses, derive recommendations, and produce documentation for top Management in cooperation with the other departments involved.
- Regularly present the status of key programs/initiatives to team members and/or the Management.
- Build and analyze operational dashboards and derive best practices by calculating and monitoring KPIs.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across all functions.
- Regularly monitor and analyze competitors in the marketplace, while keeping the leadership team updated with new product innovations or newly introduced sales strategies.
What we expect from you
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and a true data enthusiast with a degree in economics, data science, mathematics/statistics or a related field, supplemented by several years of relevant experience in analytics, customer insights, data science, or data-driven consulting.
- At least 4 years of experience in an Insights and Analytics role.
- Competent in querying large volumes of data using SQL.
- Familiarity with Python scripting and data analysis tools like data frames, pandas, pyarrow, Jupyter notebooks, regex, and plotting tools.
- Expertise in data visualization with MicroStrategy, Looker, Superset, or Tableau, i.e., building cubes, modeling data, and creating/automating reports.
- Knowledge in creating and maintaining data pipelines is beneficial.
- A true team player, who’s willing to challenge the team's ideas as well as his own
- Excellent communication skills in English and experience in structuring and presenting results to a C-level audience
- Fluency in English is required.
